Sangam Ventures is a seed and early stage venture fund that invests to improve access to sustainable energy and resource productivity solutions for the underserved in India that can lead to inclusive development and creation of communities that are resilient to climate change.
Our Team
Founder
Karthik started Sangam to find a new model to provide early stage support for climate change pioneers. He spends a lot of his time with the portfolio & within the clean technology eco-system in India & globally.
Venture Partner
Founder at LexStart.in, serves as our legal counsel. Previously Anisha was a Partner at K-Law and led multiple investment mandates with Karthik as Acumen’s legal counsel.
CFO
Ramesh brings strong experience in operational financing for cash & WC management. Prior to Sangam, he was CFO @InKlude Labs working on USAID-funded Deworming project. Ramesh has held various CEO, CFO and finance manager positions in his esteemed career including taking an SME public and raising PE investment.
Principal
Shashank leads cleantech investments as a Principal, besides bringing his passion to coaching cleantech entrepreneurs through his hands-on work with the portfolio companies and mentoring other early stage startup founders. Prior to Sangam, Shashank spent a year at Claro Energy, driving adoption of solar PV irrigation pumps across India. Early in his career, he led audits at E&Y and is a Chartered Accountant by training with a B.Com from University of Delhi.
What we do beyond investment?
Sangam AIC is India's first and only dedicated CleanTech incubator, run by Sangam Ventures in partnership with the Niti Aayog's Atal Innovation Mission scheme.
This startup acceleration program focuses on working hands-on and in the field with start-ups to achieve key milestones towards product-market fit
